1. Acceptance

By downloading, accessing, or using Alpaca, you agree to these Terms and the Apple terms applicable to the app. If you do not agree, do not use Alpaca. Minors should use the app with a parent or guardian’s consent and supervision.

2. The service

Alpaca provides focus plans, app and website blocking, usage reports, notification reminders, and exercise challenges. Some features depend on Apple’s Screen Time, notifications, camera, and in-app purchase capabilities and require the corresponding system permissions.

3. Subscriptions and purchases

Monthly and annual plans are auto-renewable subscriptions offered through the App Store. Apple charges your Apple Account when purchase is confirmed. Unless canceled before the current billing period ends, a subscription renews for the selected period at the renewal price displayed in the purchase flow and Apple confirmation sheet. An eligible free trial converts to a paid subscription at the displayed price when the trial ends unless canceled beforehand. Lifetime access is a one-time, non-consumable purchase and does not renew. Price, currency, tax, trial eligibility, billing, and refunds are governed by the purchase confirmation and Apple’s applicable rules.

4. Managing and restoring purchases

You can view, change, or cancel a subscription through your Apple Account subscription settings. Deleting Alpaca does not cancel a subscription. “Restore Purchases” rechecks valid entitlements obtained with the same Apple Account.

5. Acceptable use

You may not bypass security measures, disrupt the service, misuse system permissions, or use Alpaca unlawfully or to infringe others’ rights. You are responsible for selecting appropriate blocking rules and keeping access to apps needed for emergencies, work, education, or health.

6. Health and safety

Exercise challenges support habit building and are not medical, health, or fitness advice. Participate according to your abilities, keep your surroundings safe, and stop immediately if you feel unwell.

7. Availability and disclaimer

We work to keep Alpaca reliable but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation or compatibility with every OS version, device, or third-party app. Blocking can be affected by Apple system limitations, permission status, or device settings. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Alpaca is provided “as is.”

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of, or inability to use, Alpaca. Nothing in these terms limits consumer rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.

9. Changes and termination

We may update Alpaca or these terms to improve functionality or security or to meet legal requirements. Material changes will be communicated through the app, store page, or another reasonable method.

10. Apple standard EULA

Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement also applies.
